Earth Networks™, owner of WeatherBug®, released dramatic footage on Wednesday of a time-lapse of the Arizona Wallow Fire. The footage was taken from the Molly Butler Lodge in Greer, Arizona and shows the movement of the smoke as it moves over 700 square miles of land.
“The Wallow Fire is, unfortunately, going down in the record books as the largest wildfire in Arizona history, and all eyes are on the movement of the fire,” says Earth Networks Chief Meteorologist, Mark Hoekzema.
Earth Networks placed many cameras and lightning sensors at schools and public safety facilities in the area in order to track data from the fire.
