This year’s K-12 STEM Symposium is expected to be the biggest one yet, with a full schedule that includes appearances by some of the area’s top STEM educators as well as corporate leaders and former NASA astronaut Cady Coleman.
There is no admission charge for the event, which will be April 14 at Nysmith School for the Gifted in Herndon, Virginia. Registration is open here.

9:40 a.m. – Kickoff of fifth annual STEM Symposium by Jonathan Moneymaker, president of Altamira
9:45 a.m. – Ed Swallow, senior vice president of Civil Systems Group, The Aerospace Corp., introduces panelists Kristy Clark, Vencore; Renee Wynn, NASA; and Ted Davies, Altamira; for a discussion of “What does it take to be a superhero?”
