Changeis Inc. has been awarded a task order to help the Transportation Department’s Volpe Center to manage reimbursements for work the government performs on behalf of nongovernment partners.

DOT’s Volpe Center, founded in 1970 to share transportation expertise and promote transportation and infrastructure  innovation, is 100 percent funded by sponsor projects. The agency uses reimbursable agreements as the contractual mechanism through which it performs work on behalf of a requesting entity, and selected Changeis to provide specialized financial management expertise in support of those agreements.

“We are pleased to win this work and expand our support for the Volpe Center and its customers,” Changeis Executive Vice President Varun Malhotra said. “Successful execution of Reimbursable Agreement work requires an intersection of our core competencies in financial management and acquisition support. Our team of subject matter experts is well positioned to hit the ground running on Day 1.”

The task order was awarded through the $34 million-ceiling Capital Investment Analysis Services indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, Changeis said.

Changeis is an 8(a) certified, woman-owned small business focused on enabling innovation and large-scale transformation in the public sector.
