    George Mason’s National Security Institute Adds 11 Advisers

    The National Security Institute at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School has added 11 national security experts to its advisory board.

    The new board members are dedicated to NSI’s educational mission and its goal of being a leading bipartisan voice on national security issues, the university said.

    The new members are:

    • Ellen McCarthy, president of Noblis NSP, former chief operating officer of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
    • Chuck Alsup, president of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, former adviser to the Senate Armed Services Committee
    • David Cohen, partner at WilmerHale, former deputy director of the CIA
    • Donald Dixon, co-founder of Trident Capital Cybersecurity
    • Alice Fisher, partner at Latham & Watkins, former assistant attorney general
    • Caroline Krass, partner at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, former general counsel for the CIA
    • Letitia Long, chair of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, former director of NGA
    • Heather Molino, Cornerstone Government Affairs, former minority staff director of the House Intelligence Committee
    • Lisa Monaco, distinguished senior fellow at NYU Law School, former assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism
    • Ted Schlein, general partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers
    • Alberto Yepez, co-founder of Trident Capital Cybersecurity

    The new members join founding advisory board members Gen. Keith Alexander, Michael Allen, Stewart Baker, Jeremy Bash, Raj De, Gen. Michael Hayden, Frank Jimenez, Neil MacBride, Michael Mukasey, Matt Olsen, Benjamin Powell, Alan Raul, Mike Rogers, Paul Rosenzweig, Kristen Silverberg, Ted Ullyot, Kenneth Wainstein, Joe Whitley, Benjamin Wittes and Juan Zarate.
