HighPoint Global has announced its acquisition of Primescape Solutions, a Herndon, Virginia-based company that helps government agencies provide better digital services to citizens.

HighPoint, which offers several services designed to improve the citizen experience, said the acquisition merges two highly complementary businesses. HighPoint’s existing services include contact center optimization, customer service training, quality assurance, journey mapping and IT infrastructure support, while Primescape Solutions aims to improve citizen services through digital strategies, software development and data management.

“Combining Primescape Solutions’ digital transformation services with HighPoint’s citizen experience technology and expertise allows us to provide government customers with a broader solution for their evolving digital needs,” HighPoint Global CEO Ben Lanius said. “This acquisition allows us to provide our clients with end-to-end CX services across all citizen touchpoints so they can better serve and interact with citizens and government employees in more personalized and effective ways.”

The combined annual revenue of the company will be approximately $140 million after the acquisition, according to HighPoint, with 90 percent of that revenue coming through prime government contracts. HighPoint did not disclose the financial terms of the acquisition.

“For almost 20 years, the Primescape Solutions team has provided our federal government customers with next-generation digital transformation services, and together with HighPoint, I am confident that we will continue our unwavering commitment to supporting our customers’ missions,” PrimeScape President and CEO Shannon Brown said. “I look forward to our future as we deliver multi-channel citizen experiences, from contact centers to digital transformation and data services for integrated citizen touchpoints.”

The two companies currently work with different customers within the government. HighPoint’s existing federal customers include the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the departments of Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Primescape’s  customers include the departments of State, Treasury and Health and Human Services, the Defense Logistics Agency and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.

The combined company will support the full range of government-citizen interaction, including websites, mobile apps, video, social media and call centers, HighPoint said.

Arena Strategic Advisors LLC and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP advised HighPoint in this transaction. Primescape Solutions’ advisers included Bluestone Capital Partners and Holland & Knight LLP.
