Engility Holdings CEO Lynn Dugle has been recognized as one of the Washington, D.C., area’s most influential businesswomen by the Washington Business Journal, earning a place on its annual “Women Who Mean Business” list.
Dugle became CEO of Engility in 2016, and joined the company when it acquired TASC, where she had been a director. Dugle had previously served as a senior executive at Raytheon, where she was vice president of Raytheon Co. and president of Raytheon IIS until her retirement in March 2015.
“I’ve long believed that women who succeed in their chosen fields spend more time thinking about doing excellent work than pondering where the glass ceiling is and how close they are to it,” Dugle said. “It’s quite an accolade to be included among this group of respected leaders.”
The award, now in its 14th year, honors women in many industries and professions who show strong resumes of professional accomplishments, innovation, performance and community leadership, according to Washington Business Journal Publisher James MacGregor.
“Lynn’s work since taking on the role of CEO of Engility in 2016 impressed our judges and we’re pleased to have her join the ranks of the more than 350 talented women who are alumna of this great program,” MacGregor said.
Dugle will be recognized, along with other winners, at an evening awards program Nov. 1, at the InterContinental at The Wharf.
The full list of nominees and winners can be found on Washington Business Journal’s website.
