    Aaron Shourie, SES

    Aaron Shourie

    Chief Legal Officer, SES

Aaron Shourie’s biggest recent achievement after SES’ closing of the Intelsat acquisition is the ongoing integration of two large and highly complex legal departments into a single, unified legal organization for a global public company.

The integrated team now delivers a full spectrum of legal services, including commercial, regulatory, governance, compliance, labor and employment, financing, M&A, tax and public company reporting in direct support of SES business activities.

SES Legal continuously supports the company’s efforts to reduce costs, streamline operations and improve overall efficiency by evaluating processes, identifying synergies and partnering across the business to simplify how work gets done while managing risk effectively.

    Why Watch

In 2026, Shourie’s team is focused on serving as true business partners as SES enters its next phase of diversification, growth and evolution as a global space solutions provider. A key priority is enhancing and streamlining processes to drive efficiencies that enable faster decision‑making and better business outcomes.

“We have a great legal team at SES, and I am excited about how this team is coming together and will continue to evolve in support of SES’s mission,” Shourie said. “We are proud to be business partners who are on the frontline, helping to drive results and better outcomes that ultimately enhance shareholder value, while at the same time blending and promoting the culture and values that are important to us at SES.”

Fun fact: Shourie spends many weekends at his home in Ocean View, Delaware, running, biking, hiking and kayaking. It’s how he recharges, he said — time with family, including his wife of 29 years, Teresa, and their 1-year-old puppy Charlie, and space to think and stay focused on priorities.
