Adam Levy
Chief Operations and Engineering Officer, SES
Adam Levy advanced the integration of SES after its combination with Intelsat and helped position the new SES as a leading provider of innovative space solutions.
Delivering a fully unified network while maintaining service quality with zero customer disruption required tight coordination across operations, engineering, government and commercial teams. At the same time, SES expanded its portfolio of space solutions to better meet the evolving connectivity needs of government and commercial customers.
“I’m incredibly proud of how our teams have come together over the past several months — blending cultures, capabilities and ways of working to create something stronger than either organization could achieve alone,” Levy said. “We’re focused on delivering reliable performance, simplifying how we operate and expanding the value of the space solutions we bring to customers across every market we serve — today and in the future. The momentum we’ve built is real, and we’re just getting started.”
Why Watch
In 2026, Levy and his team will remain focused on completing the remaining integration milestones and accelerating performance improvements across the combined network and service platforms so it can execute on plans to develop next-generation space and satellite-powered connectivity solutions for a wide range of users in existing and new markets.
Key priorities include strengthening operational reliability, scaling capabilities for customers and improving end-to-end delivery of scalable, interoperable and multi-orbit connectivity solutions. The team is also driving simplification and efficiency to position the business for long-term growth.
SES works to reduce cost, streamline operations and improve government efficiency by modernizing the delivery of its space and ground solutions, consolidating platforms and simplifying how agencies acquire and use connectivity, Levy said. The company is strengthening automation, optimizing its operational footprint and standardizing processes to deliver more capability at lower cost and with greater transparency.
“In addition, we are expanding our multi-orbit offerings to give government users more resilient, flexible and mission tailored connectivity options now and in the future that improve performance while lowering total cost of ownership,” he said.
Fun fact: After living in Maryland for over 50 years, Levy now splits his time between the United States and Luxembourg, giving him firsthand perspective on both cultures. Being based in both locations has helped him build stronger relationships and create a more unified way of working.
