Auria has acquired BCubed Engineering Corp., bringing the Enlightenment Capital portfolio company to over 500 employees across Colorado Springs and Boulder, Colorado; Washington, D.C.; Huntsville, Alabama; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Ogden, Utah and San Diego, California.

Founded in 2015 and based in Warrenton, Virginia, BCubed provides software-defined C3 solutions for the U.S. Space Force, U.S. Special Operations Command and the intelligence community, supporting integrated space, ground and tactical operations through satellite communications, digital ground systems and cloud-native command-and-control platforms.

Auria said the acquisition expands its software and hardware offerings across the C3 continuum, connecting space missions, ground stations and tactical operators to move mission data and tasking from enterprise command to the tactical edge, supporting faster decision-making, greater agility and resilient operations in contested environments.

BCubed Founder and CEO Chris Bartley said the company was built to ensure mission continuity from senior command through execution.

“Joining Auria allows us to scale our technology offerings and deliver even greater end-to-end mission impact for our customers and operators on the ground,” he said. “I look forward to working with the Auria team in solving tough challenges across national security and creating greater opportunities for our employees.”

Auria CEO Damian DiPippa said the company has long focused on delivering resilient C3 solutions for complex space missions and that BCubed bolsters its ability to connect command authorities, ground infrastructure and tactical operators through integrated, software-defined capabilities within a single operational framework.

“Chris has built an outstanding business focused on embedding innovative technologies to drive mission outcomes, and we are thrilled to welcome him and the BCubed team to Auria,” he added.
