    Drew Schnabel

GVP & President of U.S. Government Solutions, Zscaler

Drew Schnabel led the Zscaler teams that secured FedRAMP Moderate and High authorizations and DOD Impact Level 5 certification, strengthening security for sensitive government operations. He is now driving efforts to build toward classified zero trust security solutions in 2026 to meet the highest classified environment requirements and support critical missions.

The current administration is pushing agencies to accelerate adoption of cloud services and modern applications. Zscaler delivers the zero trust security architecture agencies need to embrace SaaS securely.

    Why Watch

In 2026, Zscaler’s U.S. Government Solutions team is focused on helping agencies reduce costs and streamline operations in line with administration priorities. The team is also working closely with organizations to securely integrate and manage AI, understanding its role in driving innovation and operational efficiency. The goal is to position Zscaler as the essential platform for secure, high-performance government IT in the era of cloud and AI.

Fun fact: Schnabel is a strong advocate for veterans. He serves as the executive sponsor for Vets@Z and the SkillBridge program, supporting service members transitioning into cybersecurity careers. He also mentors through Syracuse University’s Office of Veteran and Military Affairs and serves as a board member for AFCEA International.
