    Alexis Oehling’s biggest recent achievement is building collaborative, high-performing teams that align with mission priorities and deliver strong outcomes for Apex Systems’ clients. Over the past year, she brought together teams that listen closely, adapt to change and produce work customers are proud to share with their government partners.

    Seeing those teams earn trust and expand their scope to new programs has been a major milestone for her. She also partnered with clients to drive innovation and integrate AI into strategic solutions, laying a foundation for future success.

    The company also worked closely with clients to reduce costs by evaluating team structures and optimizing labor rates to improve efficiency without sacrificing quality.

    In 2026, Oehling’s team will be focused on advancing Apex Systems’ delivery model to strengthen execution and ensure alignment with client project outcomes. The company will continue delivering capability-driven solutions that help clients secure and optimize performance on mission-critical IT services contracts. With deep expertise in artificial intelligence, the team aims to accelerate service delivery, save clients time and reduce costs.

    “This year brought change and challenges, and I’m proud of our team for staying focused on our clients and their end customers, controlling what we could control,” Oehling said. “In times like these, it’s easy to lose sight of the mission, but this team pushed through and delivered exceptional support when it mattered most.”

    Fun fact: Oehling was a Division I swimmer at James Madison University. Competing at that level taught her the value of teamwork, commitment and time management, skills that continue to shape her career and leadership style.
