Maximus has named Dr. Paul Williams general manager of its Outside the U.S. segment to lead growth and operations across the company’s international portfolio, including health program administration, independent assessments and workforce and disability services.
Williams is a recognized leader in occupational medicine and large-scale health service delivery. He joined Maximus in 2015 as chief medical officer and later served as program director for the Health Assessment Advisory Service. In 2018, he became division president of Maximus UK, leading over 1,800 clinicians delivering services on behalf of the U.K. government.
Maximus CEO Bruce Caswell said Williams’ appointment reflects the company’s focus on strong delivery across its international markets. He added that Williams’ leadership in clinical innovation and digital capability development will strengthen Maximus’ ability to support governments outside the U.S. and improve outcomes for the people they serve.
“As Paul steps into this role, I want to congratulate Kevin Reilly on his retirement and offer my sincere appreciation for his significant contributions to Maximus over the past 20+ years, including his most recent role leading our Outside the U.S. Segment,” Caswell said.
Williams said he is honored to step into the role and continue supporting the governments Maximus serves. He noted that demand is growing across international markets for innovative, digitally enabled services that improve citizen experiences and deliver measurable value.
“Our talented teams are ready to rise to the occasion, expand our impact, and help our partners meet the evolving needs of the communities they serve,” he added.
Williams will report to Caswell.
