GDIT Introduces DOGMA AI to Speed Government Decision-Making

General Dynamics Information Technology has launched its Defense Operations Grid Mesh Accelerator AI solution, known as DOGMA, for use across the federal government.

DOGMA integrates AI, machine learning, cloud computing and satellite connectivity to help agencies process and analyze data faster and make decisions in complex operational environments. Part of GDIT’s Mission AI portfolio, the solution can be deployed anywhere, from a single laptop to devices operating in low Earth orbit, and tailored to specific mission needs.

The platform supports defense, intelligence and civilian use cases, including aerial threat detection, critical infrastructure protection, intelligence analysis, border security, natural disaster early warning, public safety monitoring, transportation optimization and smart city traffic management.

“As mission environments grow more connected and complex, speed and precision in decision-making have never been more critical,” said Brian Sheridan, GDIT senior vice president for defense. “DOGMA will enable operators to act on information faster, anticipate emerging threats and maintain decision advantage. Agencies across the government can use this solution to support our nation’s most vital priorities.”

GDIT said it demonstrated DOGMA during multiple military exercises last year. At the Technology Readiness Experimentation Event, known as T-REX-25-2, the company used the solution to monitor unmanned aerial systems, cutting decision-making time from 30 minutes to 3 seconds. During Cyber Fortress 2025, a simulated cyber and physical attack on a power grid, GDIT used DOGMA to deliver real-time visibility into aerial threats and support coordinated response efforts.

Planned updates to DOGMA include quantum-safe encryption, adaptive large language model agents to improve human-machine collaboration, and expanded interoperability across domains and operating environments.
