In 2026, his team is focused on addressing insider threats by analyzing the entire spectrum of anomalous system activity, both human and non-human. As adversaries increasingly exploit employees through AI misuse, DTEX is uniquely positioned to uncover and mitigate insider risks driven by GenAI and shadow AI, which often evade detection. Without robust oversight, malicious insiders and compromised AI agents will continue to exploit identities and circumvent security controls.

Fun fact: Harris graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy, where he played basketball and met his wife, now an active-duty MH-60S pilot. He served nearly six years as a Naval Surface Warfare Officer. After leaving the Navy, he wanted to stay connected to the mission and continue serving in a new way. His military experience shaped a lasting drive to protect national security, a commitment he now carries into his work in the private sector.
