From federal healthcare to civilian agencies to the defense and intelligence communities, Jason Prow applies IBM’s most relevant solution offerings to build comprehensive, cost-effective answers to agencies’ toughest technical challenges.
In addition to his success developing client-focused technology solutions for IBM’s federal customers, Prow has taken full ownership of IBM’s federal emerging technology incubator, oLabs. Retained after IBM’s acquisition of Octo in late 2022, oLabs has delivered significant value to defense and intelligence clients and serves as an innovative environment for testing solutions in conditions that closely mirror real-world scenarios.
Under Prow’s leadership, oLabs will expand its reach to federal civilian and healthcare clients and more tightly integrate all four properties in IBM’s Federal Labs Ecosystem. The goal is a seamless value stream from ideation to deployment for every IBM federal customer.
As for the value of IBM’s Federal Labs Ecosystem, Prow pointed to the high level of collaboration with federal clients, which allows IBM to better understand agencies’ real challenges and co-create solutions that directly address them.
“The result is greater scalability, security, and adaptability over time with less dependence on our support to reduce cost over time, all key desires of the current administration,” he said. “Additionally, with IBM’s robust AI and Hybrid Cloud based solutions we can move federal workers to more valuable roles within agencies and provide even more accessible, secure, and always-available citizen solutions.”
