REI Systems has been authorized by the Cyber AB as a Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization under the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification framework.
The designation allows REI Systems to conduct CMMC Level 2 assessments and issue certifications to Defense Industrial Base organizations seeking compliance.
The CMMC program sets cybersecurity requirements for companies handling sensitive defense information. To earn C3PAO authorization, REI Systems met requirements set by the Defense Department and the Cyber AB, including an assessment by the Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center, organizational background checks, quality assurance controls and ongoing accreditation standards to ensure independence and effectiveness.
“Achieving CMMC Level 2 C3PAO certification is a testament to our experience in cybersecurity and compliance,” said Narpender Bawa, certified CMMC professional and senior director at REI Systems. “This milestone reinforces our commitment to safeguard sensitive information and to help Defense Industrial Base (DIB) companies navigate the CMMC compliance journey. We are proud to leverage our decades of experience to help organizations strengthen their cyber resilience and meet critical compliance standards.”
The authorization strengthens REI Systems’ role in supporting organizations that handle Controlled Unclassified Information across the Defense Department supply chain. It also builds on the company’s broader cybersecurity and digital transformation work, including secure, mission-critical systems built with SecDevOps practices, zero trust architectures and automation.
Organizations seeking a CMMC Level 2 assessment or more information about REI Systems’ C3PAO services can find details on the company’s website.
