
SAIC has appointed Ravi Dankanikote as chief growth officer, effective immediately, to lead the company’s enterprise growth strategy and go-to-market efforts.

Dankanikote brings over 30 years of experience in government contracting and reports to Interim CEO Jim Reagan. He served as SAIC’s senior vice president for business development from 2021 through August. He returns to the company after a four-month stint as chief growth officer at Peraton. Before joining SAIC, Dankanikote spent 27 years at CACI.
“Ravi doesn’t just know SAIC, he knows the industry. He is deeply attuned to industry trends and the transformation that is occurring right now in the market in terms of what customers want and how they want to purchase it,” Reagan said. “He is the right choice to lead our business development and growth strategy as SAIC implements our simplified organizational structure and sharpens our focus on key opportunities to provide even greater value to our customers, increase growth for our shareholders, and create a stronger company.”
Dankanikote has a master’s degree in computer science from Shippensburg University and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from R.V. College of Engineering in Bangalore, India. He serves on the boards of the National Defense Industrial Association Washington Chapter, WashingtonExec and Executive Mosaic’s BD Council.
