Peraton has won a $196 million Global Cyber Center contract supporting the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command, marking a key milestone in advancing the Army’s digital modernization and strengthening global cyber defense, the company said.
“This work is about enabling mission readiness, protecting national security, and delivering resilient, real-time cyber capabilities to the warfighter,” said Tom Afferton, president, Cyber Mission Sector at Peraton. “We are honored to support NETCOM and the Global Cyber Center as they protect the Army’s digital frontlines.”
The GCC is the Army’s main cyber operations and security hub under the control of NETCOM. Operating 24/7, it coordinates with Regional Cyber Centers to enable global mission command and defend networks across the Army enterprise.
Under the contract, Peraton will consolidate and streamline defensive cyber operations. The company will operate and secure the Army’s NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments, sustain enterprise-level infrastructure, and support software, hardware, applications, tools and systems across the Department of Defense Information Network.
The work also includes managing the Global Cyber Center Point of Presence for Southwest Asia and supporting future mission expansion and surges tied to new operational needs.
Peraton said it brings over a decade of experience supporting Army cyber initiatives and has partnered with NETCOM and Army Cyber Command since 2012.
