As we near Veterans Day on Nov. 11, WashingtonExec is interviewing GovCon leaders to discuss how their companies support and recognize veterans during this time of year and year-round.

In this segment, WashingtonExec’s Amanda Ziadeh sits down with Troy Kirby, SkillBridge Military Program manager at Nightwing and a 30-year U.S. Army veteran. Kirby shares his personal connection to the veteran community and details Nightwing’s veteran-focused initiatives — including participation in wreath-laying ceremonies, the Army-Navy game and daily engagement with local veteran groups. Central to Nightwing’s efforts is its Defense Department SkillBridge program, which helps transitioning service members gain cybersecurity training and employment opportunities.
