    Denise Perry, ENSCO

    Denise Perry

Vice President of Human Resources, ENSCO

Denise Perry led the design and implementation of a companywide talent initiative that improved engagement, reduced turnover and strengthened ENSCO’s leadership pipeline. She’s “incredibly proud” of her team’s work over the past year.

Her team built programs that prepare future leaders while aligning with the company’s strategic direction. Their focus now is on shaping a workforce that’s adaptable, mission-driven and ready for what’s next —an effort powered by collaboration, data-informed decisions and a shared commitment to excellence.

By launching a structured ambassador mentorship program and a formal leadership development track, Perry created a scalable framework for long-term succession planning among senior executives. The program prepares mid-level managers for leadership by blending strategic thinking, compliance awareness and mission alignment.

“What truly sets her apart is her ability to balance people-centered care with organizational goals and values,” said Joanne McDonald, vice president, chief ethics officer and corporate secretary at ENSCO, Inc. “She has a remarkable talent for creating a culture of trust and fairness, ensuring that every employee feels heard and valued. Beyond her day-to-day HR responsibilities, Denise has made an outstanding impact through innovative programs that enhance employee engagement, streamlined processes and improved hiring and retention.”

    Why Watch

In 2025, Perry’s team is focused on building a workforce that is both resilient and future ready. The team is using AI-driven HR analytics to inform decisions and expanding a skills-based development model to keep the organization agile in a rapidly shifting business environment. This work aligns talent strategy with long-term business goals and mission continuity.

“At ENSCO, reducing costs, streamlining operations and improving government efficiency begins with how we build and manage our workforce,” she added. “By developing targeted leadership programs, reducing turnover and using data to guide talent decisions, we are strengthening our ability to deliver more efficiently and effectively. Our approach ensures we are not only responsive to mission needs but also mindful stewards of resources.”

Fun Fact: Perry is a lifelong supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
