Jenn Henriques
Chief People Officer, Aleut Federal LLC
Jenn Henriques recently led her team through a major transition — moving from a fully insured model under the Federal Employee Health Benefits program to a self-funded medical plan launching next year.
“This move gives Aleut greater control over costs and the flexibility to design benefits that truly fit our people,” Henriques said. “With the framework built, we’re just weeks away from open enrollment and the rollout of this upgraded employee offering.”
At Aleut, technology and people advance together in balance, she added.
“With a focus on employee satisfaction and engagement, we’re creating a more connected, inclusive and responsive workplace by investing in tools and programs that support employee well-being, career growth and flexibility. This includes leveraging AI to personalize HR support, expanding learning and development opportunities, and refining our policies to balance performance with autonomy. Our goal is to foster a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.”
Nick Trzcinski, president of Aleut Federal LLC, said Henriques is a “transformational leader in one of the “toughest markets” he’s experienced.
“Despite the headwinds of 2025 in our space, Aleut Federal has grown, and Jenn’s team has had to grow with it, while also retooling the ‘how,'” Trzcinski said. “For her, that’s meant peer leadership through new tools, new procedures and doubling down on emerging technology accelerators like enterprise AI.”
Why Watch
In 2025, Henriques’ focus is on transforming how her team understands and supports the workforce through data. That includes using analytics to drive smarter decisions around retention, engagement and operational efficiency, and finding ways to do more with less.
“By integrating AI-powered tools and predictive insights, we’re creating more personalized, connected and proactive employee experiences across the organization,” she said. “We are driving cost reduction and efficiency both internally and for our customers.”
Through AI adoption and modernizing internal systems, her team helped increased transparency, accelerate delivery and ensure the company remains a high-value partner in the government contracting space, she said. Henriques said she’s incredibly proud of her team and its ability to do more with less, stay focused and show up with unwavering dedication.
“They’ve shown tremendous ability in providing a thoughtful balance between employee care and the demands of an ever-evolving landscape, and it has been nothing short of exceptional,” she said.
Fun Fact: Henriques’ family have always been dog rescuers, but they recently added a new species to the mix: a ferret named Turbo. “He’s been a hilarious and mischievous addition to our household,” Henriques said. “Our two rescue dogs, River and Rocky, are fascinated by him, though it’s clear Turbo runs the show.”
