    Madelyne D’Angelo, Riverside Research

    Madelyne D’Angelo

Chief Human Resources Officer, Riverside Research

Madelyne D’Angelo’s biggest recent achievement was developing and launching the company’s Agentic AI Roadmap within the HR function to strengthen data-driven analysis for identifying trends, assessing culture, developing leaders, sourcing candidates and monitoring compliance.

Streamlining operations and improving efficiency have long been priorities at Riverside Research. In 2025, the HR team advanced this mission on two fronts. First, they modernized talent processes through Project Helix, the company’s internal AI initiative. Helix generates clearer job specifications aligned with skills and mission needs, screens candidates using structured, role-specific criteria, and organizes interview guides and feedback to help hiring teams make faster, more consistent decisions. The initiative exemplifies Riverside’s commitment to operational efficiency while maintaining the human judgment that defines its culture.

Second, the team built internal tools to support the annual climate survey and year-end merit and bonus reviews. These tools give leaders timely insights and streamline workflows without adding bureaucracy. Across all of this work, Riverside continues to push decision-making to the lowest responsible level, empowering leaders closest to the mission to act quickly while maintaining strong governance.

“Our HR organization operates as a true strategic partner,” D’Angelo said. “We combine data-driven insight with genuine care for our people. The team’s expertise has been instrumental in shaping a high-performing, values-driven workforce.”

    Why Watch

In 2025, her team is focused on expanding leadership development. They’ve created new programs and materials for first-level supervisors and program managers, set to launch in January 2026. These resources will continue to evolve over the coming years to ensure supervisors are among the best in the business, equipped with the support, training and guidance needed to lead both people and programs successfully.

“Madelyne is a leader who lifts an entire organization,” said Dr. Steven Omick, president and CEO of Riverside Research. “She is approachable and genuine, and she isn’t afraid to clown around when the moment calls for levity. But she pairs that warmth with a depth of experience and steady judgment. Across the organization, she builds the trust that elevates teams and creates a culture of connection. She is the standard for what a Chief HR Officer should be.”

Fun Fact: “I once had a clown tell me that I have a great face to be a clown,” D’Angelo said.
