Sandra Gillespie, former chief operating officer of Excella and NCI Information Systems, announced on her LinkedIn the launch of Synera Advisory Group LLC.

Gillespie will serve as founder and managing partner.

“After three decades leading operational and contractual strategy, business development, and digital transformation in the GovTech and technology-enabled services sectors, I am channeling that experience into a new venture designed for this era of change,” she said in her post.

Synera Advisory Group will partner with boards, investors and executive teams to provide strategic guidance in areas including:

    • Scaling operations through integrated business development and delivery alignment
    • Enabling cultural transformation and leadership cohesion
    • AI integration and modernization strategies
    • M&A readiness and post-acquisition value creation
    • Governance and risk oversight for high-growth enterprises

Gillespie’s business philosophy is rooted in building enduring client trust, translating strategy into market momentum and aligning with delivery excellence.

“This approach has helped drive sustainable growth and position organizations for long-term success,” Gillespie added.

The name Synera comes from synergy — the value created when organizations align people, processes and technology — and era, reflecting this transformative period for business and government.

“I look forward to collaborating with organizations seeking clarity, resilience, and growth in this dynamic environment,” Gillespie added.
