Peraton has won a position on a $980 million multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with the U.S. Air Force to support its global network of automatic testing systems.
The ATS contract expands Peraton’s national defense work and strengthens its partnership with the Defense Department, the company said.
“This contract goes beyond reliable test equipment and represents proactive mission readiness,” said Tarik Reyes, president of Defense Mission and Health Solutions Sector at Peraton. “Our work will help keep America’s military aircraft in mission-ready condition so that our servicemen and women can fly, fight, and win wherever they’re called.”
The company will provide services and supplies to support the maintenance and operation of specialized testing equipment used across a range of military aircraft. These systems ensure that fighter jets, bombers, drones and helicopters remain safe, reliable and mission ready worldwide.
The ATSA-I contract supports the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, which oversees the full life span of the military’s test systems. These systems help warfighters identify and fix issues quickly — on base or in the field — keeping aircraft combat-ready. The contract also streamlines how DOD acquires tools and support, enabling faster repairs, greater reliability and quicker deployments.
The company said what makes this contract especially important is its broad scope: Peraton will support not only the Air Force but also the Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program and U.S. allies.
