Zscaler Inc. announced new cloud security tools for U.S. civilian and Defense Department agencies, expanding access to FedRAMP Moderate and High Authorized data centers and narrowing the gap between commercial and government deployments.
The updates include Zidentity, Experience Center, Data Fabric for Security, and OneAPI. Together, they give federal customers near-full parity with Zscaler’s commercial offerings, letting agencies and contractors operate more efficiently at home and abroad while cutting costs and strengthening defenses.
The Data Fabric for Security unifies operations by pulling findings from over 200 sources into contextual insights and automated workflows. That integration supports Zscaler’s Asset Exposure Management and Unified Vulnerability Management services, helping agencies spot security gaps, detect and contain threats, and accelerate remediation.
Zscaler said the new capabilities will:
-
Increase productivity and lower costs by modernizing administrative operations, streamlining workflows and reducing reliance on outdated tools.
-
Modernize to commercial innovation by giving agencies access to advanced features comparable to private-sector offerings, aligned with federal compliance frameworks.
-
Unify user experience and integration through a consistent interface across platforms and tools to improve mission operations.
-
Strengthen cyber resilience by meeting Office of Management and Budget and Defense Department Zero Trust requirements and countering nation-state and insider threats.
-
Enhance mission readiness with secure, high-performance cloud capabilities deployed globally.
“The mission of protecting the nation demands speed, resilience, and innovation equal to the threats we face,” said Drew Schnabel, Zscaler vice president of government solutions. “By delivering a fully modernized federal admin experience, Zscaler is closing the technology gap between the public and private sectors.
