Dan Payne’s biggest recent achievement was bringing the cleared industry together to raise awareness of the national security risks of remote worker fraud. At MANTECH, he convened insider threat teams from across industry to jointly address the issue, and he helped the current director of the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency establish regular meetings with CEOs of cleared contractors to foster greater dialogue and collaboration.

Payne will continue to educate both industry and government on the importance of strong insider threat programs within industry “because industry is the biggest target of our adversaries, and actions the government can take to help industry,” he said.
