Serco Inc. has named Michael LaRouche chief executive of its North American business, effective Oct. 1.
He will succeed Tom Watson, who’s stepping down after seven years in the role.
LaRouche has over 30 years of leadership experience in defense and civilian markets. He held senior positions at Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and SAIC, leading business growth in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East and Australia.
He also oversaw the delivery of systems and services for U.S. defense and civilian agencies, including all branches of the military and the intelligence community, with expertise across space, air, land, sea and cyber domains.
“Michael is an excellent appointment for Serco, and I am delighted to welcome him as our CEO for North America,” said Anthony Kirby, Group CEO of Serco. “Michael is a strategic leader and has deep experience in growing businesses, in the United States and internationally.”
Kirby thanked Watson for his leadership, noting he built Serco’s North American business into a strong performer.
