GovCIO, LLC has finalized its acquisition of SoldierPoint Digital Health, LLC from Iron Bow Technologies, expanding its role in the Department of Veterans Affairs with a focus on the Veterans Health Administration.

SoldierPoint manages the Connected Care Integrated Network, a single-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with VA. Valued at $2 billion over seven years, the contract supports over 4 million veterans through telehealth and connected care solutions.

Following the acquisition, SoldierPoint’s nearly 300 employees will join GovCIO’s Veteran and Enterprise Technology Solutions sector, led by Kristin Gill. GovCIO will oversee execution of the CCIN program under VHA’s Digital Health Office.

“This acquisition represents the addition of important capabilities that enhance our ability to support the mission of our largest client, the Department of Veteran Affairs,” said Joe Cormier, GovCIO chief operating officer and chief financial officer. “We are thrilled to welcome SoldierPoint to GovCIO and further expand our mission supporting Veterans.”

GovCIO holds a franchise position at VA with programs at the Veterans Benefits Administration and the Office of Information and Technology. The company has spent over a decade modernizing legacy systems and improving services and access to benefits. It plans to leverage low-code and no-code expertise and emerging artificial intelligence technologies to strengthen the CCIN mission.

“This is an excellent opportunity to enhance our solution offering to CCIN and VHA through reachback to the broader GovCIO suite of capabilities and offers our employees additional career opportunities inside the company,” said Alex Mujica, GovCIO VETS sector senior vice president and lead for SoldierPoint.
