Core4ce, a federal contractor specializing in defense technology solutions and professional services, has added David Luber to its board of advisors.

Luber retired in May after a nearly 40-year career at the National Security Agency, where he most recently served as director of cybersecurity. He spent nearly four years as deputy director of the Cybersecurity Directorate, overseeing operations and leading strategies that reshaped the intelligence community and the Defense Department’s cyber mission. He helped expand the agency’s Cybersecurity Collaboration Center.

Earlier, Luber served as executive director at U.S. Cyber Command, where he led more than 12,000 personnel, including 6,000 cyber warriors across 133 Cyber Mission Force teams.

“David’s addition to the board marks a significant milestone for Core4ce,” said Core4ce CEO Mike Morehouse. “His decades of leadership at the NSA and deep expertise spanning signals intelligence and national security systems will guide us in navigating a complex security landscape. I am confident his perspective will not only strengthen the solutions we develop for our customers, but also inspire new initiatives that push the boundaries of what is possible in cyber defense in the era of AI.”

Luber’s appointment follows the addition of retired U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Doug Small to Core4ce’s board of advisors earlier this year. The board unites senior leaders from across the national security community to shape strategy, strengthen customer partnerships and drive defense technology innovation.

“Over the course of my career at the NSA, I had the privilege of leading cybersecurity operations and developing strategies to strengthen the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense’s ability to defend against evolving threats,” Luber said. “Joining Core4ce’s Board of Advisors is an opportunity to continue that mission with a company that has a proven record of leveraging cutting-edge technology and strategic partnerships in the fight against cyber adversaries. I’m excited to lend my experience to help guide the company’s leaders and drive new initiatives that expand and strengthen our nation’s cyber defense.”
