Digital Realty and Oxford Quantum Circuits have launched the first quantum-AI data center in New York City, installing OQC’s GENESIS quantum computer at Digital Realty’s JFK10 facility and integrating it with NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper Superchips.

The deployment marks the first time a quantum computer has been installed in a New York data center. The project combines OQC’s superconducting quantum hardware, NVIDIA’s accelerated AI computing and Digital Realty’s global infrastructure to create a platform designed for hybrid quantum-AI workloads at scale.

OQC said future GENESIS systems will ship with NVIDIA accelerated computing as standard, building on prior collaborations with the CUDA-Q platform to give developers tools for quantum-AI applications.

“Digital Realty’s mission has always been to enable the world’s most innovative technologies by providing secure, interconnected infrastructure at global scale,” said Andy Power, president and CEO at Digital Realty. “By working with OQC, we’re using NVIDIA supercomputing to make Quantum-AI directly accessible in one of the world’s most important data hubs – empowering enterprises and governments to unlock new levels of performance and resilience.”

    Applications
The companies said the quantum-AI platform will support:

    • Finance: Faster and more accurate risk modeling, portfolio optimization, fraud detection and derivatives pricing.

    • Security: Material simulation, logistics optimization and decision-making under uncertainty.

    • AI development: Accelerated model training, efficient data generation and emerging quantum machine learning applications.

“This Quantum-AI data center demonstrates how quantum can drive the AI revolution – securely, practically, and at scale – while strengthening the UK-US technology alliance,” said Gerald Mullally, CEO at OQC. “Leveraging Digital Realty’s infrastructure and NVIDIA supercomputing, we are redefining enterprise computing for finance and security.”

OQC is the only quantum computing company with live deployments in colocated data centers, with existing systems in London and Tokyo and now New York. Its patented dual-rail Dimon qubit technology reduces error rates and hardware overheads, which OQC says accelerates the path toward fault-tolerant systems.

Working with Digital Realty, OQC plans to scale its technology for commercial impact in finance, defense and AI.
