SAIC has named Senior Vice President Bob Ritchie chief growth officer, expanding his role to lead business development and report to Tim Turitto, executive vice president of enterprise operations and chief of staff to the CEO.

“Bob’s appointment reflects our forward-looking vision at SAIC, where deep technical expertise and mission-focused business development are unified to deliver unmatched outcomes for our customers,” Turitto said. “By combining these functions, we are accelerating innovation and ensuring our solutions anticipate and align with the nation’s most pressing priorities.”

A 20-year SAIC veteran, Ritchie began as a software engineering intern and held roles of increasing responsibility across the company. He became chief technology officer in 2022, creating a technology organization that worked with SAIC’s business groups and Chief Innovation Office to advance the company’s growth strategy and secure key contracts, including the Air Force’s Cloud One and Cloud-Based Command and Control programs and the Treasury Department’s TCloud contract.

In his expanded role, Ritchie will oversee collaboration among SAIC’s innovation, technology and business development teams to deliver integrated solutions in artificial intelligence, cyber, space, autonomy and C5ISR.

“Bringing together technology vision and business development creates powerful opportunities for our customers and our teams,” Ritchie said. “This synergy will balance the standardization of mission IT, enterprise IT, and engineering solutions across the enterprise with the creativity, mission intimacy, and discipline required to deliver mission outcomes for our customers.”

Ritchie was also a winner of WashingtonExec’s Chief Officer Award for CTO of the Year (Public Company).
