Peraton has appointed Ravi Dankanikote as chief growth officer, tasking him with leading the company’s enterprise growth strategy, overseeing business development across all markets and building strategic customer relationships

Dankanikote brings over 30 years of experience in the federal contracting sector, including senior roles at SAIC and CACI International. He’s recognized for cultivating high-performing teams, transforming growth cultures and generating long-term value.

“Our business doesn’t succeed by chasing trends—it thrives by solving real problems with ingenuity and integrity,” Dankanikote said. “We must lead with a ‘best of’ enterprise mindset while staying deeply connected to our ecosystem of partners and academic collaborators. It’s not just about offering a solution—it’s about offering the right solution, one that’s differentiated, executable, and built on trust.”

Dankanikote’s appointment reflects Peraton’s shift toward a collaborative, partnership-driven growth model. Dankanikote’s data-driven, mission-focused approach will support the company’s expansion across the government market.

Dankanikote has served on the Washington chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association’s board, WashingtonExec’s Business Council, AFCEA and other nonprofits. He earned a master’s degree in computer science from Shippensburg University and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from R V College of Engineering in Bangalore, India.
