Casey WalshThe Army has awarded Lockheed Martin a $720 million contract for Joint Air-to-Ground and HELLFIRE missiles, the fourth and final order under its current multi-year deal.

The contract covers production for the Army, Navy and international customers. It includes 160 Joint Air-to-Ground Missiles for the U.K. and HELLFIRE sales to NATO allies Poland, Spain, the Czech Republic and Italy, as well as new customer Canada.

Lockheed Martin said the award will support urgent operational needs and reinforces its role as a leading missile supplier.

The contract marks a milestone in Lockheed Martin’s partnership with the Army, Navy and international allies and reflects the company’s continued role in supporting defense strategies, said Casey Walsh, program management director of Multi-Domain Missile Systems at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.

“As we continue to evolve our deterrence capabilities, we remain committed to supporting the military’s critical missions and helping to protect those who serve, both at home and abroad,” he added.

The missiles are designed and developed in Orlando, Florida, and produced at Lockheed Martin facilities in Dallas, Orlando, Ocala, Archbald, Pennsylvania, and Troy, Alabama. The company has built over 145,000 JAGM and HELLFIRE missiles, which remain widely used for precision strikes.
