QinetiQ US has named Scott McGleish chief growth officer, adding to its executive team as the company expands in strategic growth areas across multiple services and solutions.

“Scott brings exceptional leadership and strategic vision that will accelerate our growth trajectory,” said Tom Vecchiolla, president and CEO of QinetiQ US. “His unique combination of international business acumen, deep customer understanding, and proven ability to build high-performing teams positions us to expand our footprint while deepening partnerships across the defense and national security community.”

McGleish brings over 30 years of senior executive experience in aerospace and defense business development and P&L management. He was most recently president and general manager of Weibel Scientific North America, where he led operations, strategy and business growth for instrumentation and surveillance radars.

He held senior P&L and business development roles at Raytheon Technologies and Booz Allen Hamilton, including international assignments that built his expertise in global market development and strategic partnerships.

“QinetiQ US has established strong momentum in critical services and solutions areas that align perfectly with evolving customer requirements,” McGleish said. “I look forward to building on our legacy of operational excellence to capture new opportunities both domestically and internationally. The company’s strong foundation and proven ability to deliver transformative solutions positions us to accelerate growth and expand our impact.”

Before his industry career, McGleish served 21 years as a U.S. Army Special Forces officer and noncommissioned officer, leading combat operations in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom and gaining a deep operational understanding of customer needs and mission priorities.
