
MicroVision has named Scott Goldstein to its new Defense Industry Advisory Board to support the company’s push into defense technology and military markets.
MicroVision CEO Sumit Sharma said the company is excited to have Scott Goldstein join the advisory board to help expand its solutions in the defense sector. Sharma noted that Goldstein’s experience in defense and intelligence innovation, including roles at Parsons and Anduril, and his expertise in space, cyberspace, ISR systems and sensors will add significant value to the team.
“The breadth and depth of his highly relevant experience, expertise, and network greatly enhances MicroVision’s ability to deliver our safety technologies and autonomous solutions to mission-critical operations,” Sharma added.
Goldstein is senior vice president and fellow at Parsons Corp., where he leads technology and strategy efforts for its defense and intelligence business.
He served over 40 years in the U.S. Army and Air Force, retiring as an Air Force major general after leading space, cyber and research, development, test and evaluation operations across the Defense Department and intelligence community.
Goldstein’s industry background spans venture-backed startups to Fortune 500 companies, where he has led business units and served as chief technology officer, chief strategy officer and chief scientist.
