Booz Allen Hamilton has launched Vellox Reverser, an artificial intelligence-enabled cloud product designed to help organizations detect and defend against advanced malware in minutes instead of days or weeks.
The service uses a network of peer-to-peer nodes to break down complex malware binaries and deliver actionable defensive recommendations. Cybercriminals and nation-state actors increasingly deploy AI to craft customized malware that evades detection. Manual reverse engineering—the fallback when automated tools fail—is slow, labor-intensive and leaves organizations exposed during critical response windows.
Vellox Reverser applies AI agents and patented algorithms developed through decades of U.S. government cyber defense work. By building swarm intelligence across its nodes, the platform automates deep malware analysis and accelerates response at scale.

Mujtaba Hamid, BAH - Booz Allen Executive Vice President of Product Mujtaba Hamid said the company drew on decades of cyber tradecraft protecting the most sensitive branches of the U.S. government and embedded that expertise into Vellox Reverser.
“We are bringing advanced, mission-grade technology in a commercial-grade product offering that improves security and reduces costs,” he added. “This reflects Booz Allen’s commitment to advanced technology innovation as the leading provider of AI and cybersecurity to the federal government.”
The cloud-native product is built on Amazon Web Services, providing secure, scalable support for public and private sector cybersecurity teams.
Booz Allen Executive Vice President and Head of Global Commercial Business Andrew Turner said the firm handles hundreds of incident response cases annually, including many for Fortune 100 companies.
“Vellox Reverser enhances our ability to move quickly by using AI agents that unpack and analyze malware with the precision of a seasoned reverse engineer,” he added. “When every minute counts, Vellox Reverser helps our clients reduce risk, limit disruption, and respond with confidence.”
