IT systems integrator B&A has acquired Hexagon US Federal’s Strategic Services and Solutions Intelligence and Defense portfolio, a move the company says will strengthen its work across defense, intelligence and national security sectors.
The acquisition adds enterprise information management, integrated product solutions, cybersecurity and geospatial services to B&A’s offerings. The HS3 portfolio is known for supporting cyber assurance and situational awareness with geospatial services, mission-focused IT and integrated solutions, the company said.
President and CEO Jonathan Evans of B&A said the acquisition allows the company to deliver mission-critical technologies that directly support national and operational priorities.
“This will not only expand our access to essential contract vehicles but also deepen our expertise in field-ready systems integration, geospatial services, enterprise information management and cybersecurity—strengthening our ability to meet today’s most complex defense and intelligence challenges,” he added.
HS3 Business Unit Director Troy Sutherland of Hexagon US Federal called the deal an exciting new chapter for the team.
“B&A’s dedicated focus on government services offers the strategic alignment and mission-driven culture our employees value,” he added. “This move strengthens our current capabilities while unlocking new opportunities to grow and deliver greater impact for our government partners.”
The integration marks a milestone in B&A’s strategy to combine technical talent with operational insight to meet evolving federal needs, the company said.
“This strategic acquisition reinforces B&A’s position as a premier provider of technology solutions to the federal government,” said Doug Gilbert, partner at DFW Capital Partners. “The integration of HS3 capabilities accelerates B&A’s growth and strengthens its ability to deliver innovative, mission-focused solutions across intelligence and defense communities.”
