    Anthony Vultaggio

    CTO, SMX

Anthony Vultaggio led the development of the SMX Elevate Intelligent Automation Platform, now central to how the company delivers secure, scalable tech in highly regulated environments. The multi-tenant platform has powered thousands of cloud migrations and helped achieve hundreds of ATOs under FedRAMP and DOD frameworks — making compliance a driver of innovation.

Elevate IAP also underpins SMX’s product offerings across space operations, ISR and enterprise financial management, enabling faster deployment of mission-critical solutions.

“Anthony’s vision for Elevate IAP has been a game-changer for SMX and our clients,” said Peter LaMontagne, CEO of SMX. “His leadership is accelerating how we bring secure, innovative solutions to market—reducing time to value, simplifying compliance, and creating lasting impact across cloud, AI, and mission systems.”

    Why Watch

In 2025, Vultaggio’s team is building on the Elevate IAP foundation to deliver new AI and automation capabilities even faster. By supporting internal teams and ISV partners and moving toward fixed-price, outcome-based delivery, SMX is positioning itself as a mission-first tech partner focused on results — not effort.

“We’ve turned security compliance into our launchpad—not our limiter,” he said. “By automating the hard parts, we’ve cleared the runway for real innovation, bringing AI and mission-ready solutions to life faster and with less risk. The next wave of federal modernization won’t be stalled by red tape—it will be enabled through automated product-oriented delivery.”

Fun Fact: Vultaggio collects rare sneakers, plays retro ‘90s video games and keeps a baseball card collection. He still watches WWE and runs a weekly online D&D campaign with fellow pros who never outgrew imagination mode.
