    Victor Farah, Viasat

    Victor Farah

Senior Vice President of Government Services and Solutions, Viasat

Victor Farah led the integration of Inmarsat Government and Viasat Government Satcom into a single high-performing organization.

This move gave Viasat a stronger, more unified go-to-market strategy in the government satcom space. By aligning the product roadmap and capabilities, Farah and his team are streamlining offerings and delivering full-spectrum solutions that add more value for customers.

The result: a combined government offering on track to become a $1 billion business.

    Why Watch

In 2025, Farah and his team will launch a new roaming capability that lets customers operate across Viasat’s combined satellite networks instead of being locked into a single one.

The service uses the global reach of the GX constellation and the high-capacity, resilient Viasat fleet to ensure uninterrupted connectivity and greater flexibility. With dynamic network switching, Viasat supports military and intelligence missions — like Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance — where success depends on diversity, redundancy and global coverage.

“I’m incredibly grateful to Viasat and our exceptional team for the dedication and expertise they bring every day,” Farah said. “The integration of Inmarsat Government and Viasat Government Satcom has been about more than just combining capabilities—it’s about creating a stronger, more agile organization that is laser-focused on delivering for our customers. By embracing innovation, interoperability, and key industry partnerships, we are ensuring mission success and redefining what’s possible in government satcom.”

Fun fact: Farah’s original dream was to be a stockbroker on Wall Street — think suspenders, fast-talking deals and shouting across the trading floor. But at 19, he landed his first internship in the aerospace and defense industry, and that plan went out the window.
