    CEO, Special Aerospace Services

The SAS Space Platform integrated four companies all purchased in the past 12 months, creating a powerful company that delivers cutting-edge engineering services to the government and commercial industry. Those services include mission critical secure communications, hypersonic system and multiuse manufacturing and prototyping capabilities.

“Warren and the SAS leadership team are at the helm of an exciting growth opportunity in the space, hypersonics and missile defense markets,” said Nat Fogg, partner with Godspeed Capital. “We are thrilled to be partnered with them on this important journey.”

    Why Watch

Kohm’s team is heavily focused on taking SAS’ cutting-edge hypersonic and ballistics production capability and using it to support Golden Dome. In addition, they are opening up a new multiuse manufacturing site in Huntsville, Alabama, to support the warfighter and the government’s desire to enhance defense tech and manufacturing support.

“SAS is a true triple threat and for a company under 1,000 employees, we can accomplish great things serving our fantastic customers across the space and defense / intel industry,” Kohm said.

Fun fact: Kohm grew up around science and technology, as his family used to build cars, subsystems and prototypes.
