    Mark Lee, ERT

    Mark Lee

    CEO, Earth Resources Technology

Mark Lee is focused on building on the more than 30 years of outstanding support ERT provided to the federal government and expanding the team to meet the company’s ambitious growth plans for 2025 and beyond. He brought in new executives to help lead ERT into the future: Jon Meyer as chief financial officer, Chris Rodriguez as chief growth officer and Jeff Arnold as chief innovation officer. The team’s priority is to expand ERT’s reach and contributions to mission-driven federal work by bringing existing services to new markets while deepening support for current customers.

“Early in my career I performed analyses related to the first X Prize,” Lee said. “I played a small role in the analyses that supported the participants, including the inaugural winner, SpaceshipOne, by Paul Allen’s team at Mojave Aerospace Ventures. My kids used to love the Air and Space Museum, where SpaceshipOne now hangs, and it was very special to be able to show them the winning rocket and explain how I played a very minor part in its successful mission.”

    Why Watch

Lee and his team are prioritizing growth — organic and inorganic, in both scale and capabilities. They’re evolving ERT’s offerings to match the company’s growth strategy and meet the fast-changing needs of the space sector. Their goal is to deliver top-tier services as efficiently as possible and anticipate the next generation of client needs.

“It is an exciting time to be working in the space sector. It is quickly becoming one of the most important sectors in the economy and is positioned to play a key role in how we drive human development,” Lee said. “I believe it will have at least as profound an impact on future generations as the internet did for mine.”
