    Matthew Madalo, SGT

    Matthew Madalo

Senior Vice President – General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Corporate Secretary, Siemens Government Technologies

Matthew Madalo leads all legal, contracts, compliance and industrial security and facilities teams at Siemens Government Technologies, navigating all elements of government reporting requirements and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

The U.S. is the largest market for Siemens, and the U.S. government is the single largest customer. This affords Siemens’ legal, contracts and compliance department a key role within the entire Siemens ecosystem as the only team able to support technology and program leadership working on vital government projects at all classification levels.

“Matthew and his team are relied on for their expert advice and counsel as we navigate a rapidly evolving government marketplace,” said John Ustica, president & CEO of Siemens Government Technologies. “Thanks to his leadership and the subject matter expertise across his team, we are fortunate to have a legal team serving side-by-side with our program and business development leaders shaping successful outcomes for our customers.”

    Why Watch

“We have a tremendous technology portfolio applicable to the challenges our customers face in energy, automation and digitalization,” Madalo said. “We are poised to expand our work thanks to new acquisitions and in-demand software and hardware solutions essential for resilient energy infrastructure and rapid low code application development.”

Fun Fact: Madalo is an adjunct professor at Catholic University School of Law, where he teaches a risk management program as part of a certificate program in compliance, investigations and corporate responsibility.
