Serco has won a recompete contract worth up to $96 million to support the U.S. Navy’s Constellation-class guided missile frigate program.
The contract includes a 1-year base period and four 1-year options. Serco will continue providing technical services for the planning, design, construction, delivery and testing of FFG 62 ships and systems.
This work supports the Program Executive Office for Unmanned and Small Combatants, which oversees the Navy’s next multi-mission small surface combatant.

In April 2020, the Navy awarded the FFG 62 detail design and construction contract to Fincantieri Marinette Marine to design and build the Constellation-class frigates. These next-generation, blue-water ships are designed for multi-mission operations in contested environments.
Serco has supported PEO Unmanned and Small Combatants since 2016 in its mission to deliver warships to U.S. sailors.
