
Peraton has appointed Todd Borkey as chief technology officer.
In this role, Borkey will develop and execute the company’s technology strategy, research and development portfolio, and strategic campaigns to create new capabilities and solutions for customers. Borkey will also manage the Peraton Strategic Innovation Group, which includes Peraton Labs.

Borkey was executive vice president and CTO at Huntington Ingalls Industries, where he launched the company’s AI campaign. He also held CTO roles at Alion Science and Technology, Thales Defense and DRS, and earlier engineering and management positions at Northrop Grumman and AT&T Bell Labs.
At Bell Labs, now part of Peraton Labs, he led the development of several world-record long-haul undersea optical communications networks.
