Equinix has named Harmeen Mehta executive vice president and chief digital and innovation officer. She will serve on the Equinix executive staff and report to CEO and President Adaire Fox-Martin.
Mehta served as chief digital and innovation officer at BT Group, where she led the company’s digital and AI-driven transformation, significantly improving customer experience and operational efficiency. Before BT, she was global chief information officer and CEO of the cloud and security business at Bharti Airtel Limited.
She also held senior technology leadership roles at BBVA, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and HSBC, and worked as a consultant to British Airways and Qantas.
