V2X, Inc. won a $100 million contract to support the U.S. Navy’s Aegis Ashore facilities in Poland.
The contract has a 1-year base period, seven 1-year options and an additional 6-month extension.
These facilities in Poland are a key component of NATO’s missile defense system, designed to detect, track and intercept ballistic missiles in flight, the company said. The site is a key element in transatlantic security and strengthens NATO’s defense against the threat of ballistic missiles.
The contract underscores the company’s commitment to high-consequence missions, said Jeremy C. Wensinger, V2X president and CEO.
“For the past four years, V2X has provided support services at the U.S. Navy’s Aegis Ashore sister site in Romania,” he said. “This award marks a significant step in strengthening NATO’s defense and protecting European populations against global threats.”
