Vice President & Technical Fellow, AI, ManTech

ManTech has built a team and a methodology to bring the right kind of data analytics or AI for each client challenge, from narrow models to cutting-edge generative AI and agentic methods.

“We’ve been building out a fantastic team of experts in ManTech’s Data and AI Practice, and I’m proud of the depth and breadth of capabilities in our technical team,” said Kristen Summers.

The team is also spreading AI understanding through all of ManTech with AI Fundamentals training that enables everyone in the company to help solve client problems with data analytics and AI.

“Kristen and her team bring together decades of experience solving client mission challenges using data, analytics, and AI solutions,” said Brandy Durham, ManTech vice president of its Data and AI practice. “Her focus on bringing the right technology to the table and understanding where clients have already made technological investments means ManTech’s Data and AI solutions drive both efficiency and effectiveness for our clients.”

    Why Watch

In 2025, Summers and her team are focused on applying data analytics, data science and AI where they deliver the most practical value for government clients. They integrate AI early in workflows to maximize impact and tailor solutions to mission needs, ensuring technology adapts to users, not the other way around.

“I’m motivated by solving hard problems and making a difference in how people can do their jobs,” Summers said.

Fun fact: Summers is a cat person who ended up living with two dogs.
