System High Corp. has promoted Karl Borden to executive vice president for operations and growth to oversee daily operations and strategic growth efforts.

Borden most recently served as the vice president of science and technology protection, where he managed employee relations and development, contractual compliance, program performance, and cost management for programs supporting the Defense Department, Intelligence Community and commercial customers.

In his new role, Borden will ensure System High’s day-to-day operations run efficiently, and he’ll work to achieve organizational performance and growth objectives.

“Karl has a strong commitment to providing the best to our customers and our people,” said System High President Sarah Lord.

“Karl brings decades of experience supporting our customers and mentoring next-generation security professionals. I am thrilled to support him in this new role and for Karl to continue elevating System High and maximizing our impact to preserving National Security to current and prospective customers across the Defense and Intelligence community.”

Borden brings over 30 years of experience in security to the role, having served as a mentor to large and diverse workforces throughout his career. He specializes in contractual oversight, and ensuring timely deliverables and mission planning and collaboration within enhanced security environments.

Borden joined System High in 2016 and has held positions of increased responsibilities since, including director of legacy and emerging programs, director of security and infrastructure, and program manager supporting the DARPA contract. Before joining System High, he was the director of the Army SAPCO.
