J&J Worldwide Services, a CBRE government and defense business, won a contract to provide operations, maintenance, repair and facility management support for medical facilities at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

The task order begins March 1, 2025, and extend through Feb. 28, 2027.

WRNMMC is the world’s largest military medical center, spanning 243 acres with over 2.4 million square feet of clinical space, and serving nearly 1 million beneficiaries a year. The center also supports national leadership, providing care for the president, vice president, members of Congress, and Supreme Court justices.

J&J From CBRE will support the medical center through an integrated facilities management approach by enhancing the operational readiness and resilience of military medical infrastructure, the company said.

“Since 2017, we have been privileged to serve the Walter Reed community, delivering reliable healthcare and medical solutions that consistently meet the unique requirements of this mission-critical national resource,” said Patrick Roddy, CEO of J&J From CBRE. “This contract award reflects our commitment to excellence in medical facility operations and maintenance. We are proud to serve these facilities and the broad network of those who count on them.”

This task order falls under a larger $939,999,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the Operations and Maintenance Engineering Enhancement VII program, overseen by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
