    Tristen Yancey

Vice President of Public Sector, ZeroFox

Tristen Yancey helps government executives protect their online presence and their agencies from rising digital threats like impersonation scams that damage reputations. Her expertise is essential in an era where online risks are growing.

“The lightbulb moment when they realize that we can help them solve this problem is very rewarding,” she said.

ZeroFox Chief Revenue Officer James McCarthy said Yancey’s ability to genuinely connect with federal customers and understand their unique challenges is exceptional.

“She brings an invaluable combination of situational awareness and relationship-building skills that has transformed how we engage with the public sector,” McCarthy said. “Under her leadership, we’ve deepened our relationships with several federal customers, becoming true partners in securing their digital presence.”

    Why Watch

In 2025, the ZeroFox Public Sector Team is focused on partnering with the government to raise awareness of digital risk. Today’s society is seeing an increase in impersonations, fraud and dark web chatter related to government executives and agencies at large. ZeroFox’s goal is to improve safety, reduce risk and protect the citizenry from fraud.

“There is opportunity in chaos,” Yancey said. “When situations change and up appears as down, that is a great time to dig in and move forward while everyone else is consumed with wondering “What is next?'”

Fun fact: Yancey played lacrosse in college and spent many years coaching her daughter’s lacrosse teams. She believes building a coalition, whether with children or adults, fosters greater success and a team-first culture.
